Nikolaos Bikos

Technical-minded problem solver with a strong interest in understanding systems and fixing practical problems.

I like finding practical technical problems, searching for the right tools and solutions, and fixing things.

I enjoy working as part of a team that keeps technical systems running in the background. People go to doctors to feel better, and they travel for business or holidays — all of this depends on reliable systems. I find satisfaction in knowing that businesses can operate smoothly and people can achieve their goals because I contributed to maintaining that infrastructure. I am introverted and not naturally a people person, but I enjoy helping others indirectly by supporting the systems they rely on. I value organization, clear procedures, and taking the time needed to do the job properly.

My interests focus on practical, hands-on problem solving.

• Home repairs and everyday fixing• Tools and materials for fixing things properly• Computers, technology, and keeping data backed up• Repairing and maintaining household items• Cooking methods that reward patience and technique, such as charcoal grilling and slow oven cooking

I studied automation engineering and currently study computer science while working as a field service technician.

I have spent many years working in technical roles, maintaining complex and high-value systems that require precision, responsibility, and careful troubleshooting. These environments demand not only technical knowledge, but also discipline, attention to detail, and respect for safety. For me, work is more than a repetitive way to earn money. It is a way to learn, explore new systems, gain experience, and continuously expand how I understand the world through practice. My current focus is long-term learning, improving practical skills, and applying technical knowledge in real-world systems.
